Inn Accommodations At Smithfield Station
This original structure houses the Smithfield Station restaurant as well as 15 hotel rooms. The exterior of the Station is modeled after the old Coast Guard life saving stations that proliferated the coast of Virginia and Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Due to this building being built on pilings over the water, the hotel rooms listed below are not accessible by an elevator but rather stairs located by the restaurant hostess desk.
Boardwalk And Cottage Lodging Options
The Boardwalk Rooms and Cottages at Smithfield Station are located along the boardwalk between the Lighthouse and the Original Building. These unique rooms are truly waterfront as they sit anywhere from six to twenty feet from the marina and are all on the first floor.
The first three rooms are located together in one building while the last two are in buildings in and unto themselves. All rooms feature queen size beds, large porches and gas fireplaces (other than the Golf Rooms). Each is also decorated in their own unique motif.
