Promotions
Promotional rates may not be valid on some weekends, holidays, or special events.

Cancelation
Reservations arriving Sunday - Thursday must be cancelled no later than 6pm same day to avoid a penalty of the first night's room and tax. Reservations arriving on Friday or Saturday must be cancelled no later than 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a penalty of the first night's room and tax.

Pets
Smithfield Station does not allow pets.  Local boarding facilities are available at Rogers Veterinary Hospital (757) 357-3251, and The Oaks Veterinary Hospital (757) 357-2324. If need be, we will be happy to make arrangements for you at either of these facilities.

Reservations
Hotel room rates are subject to change and may vary for special events and holidays. Rates are subject to prevailing tax rates at the time of your stay. Quoted rates are based on single or double occupancy. There is no charge for children under fifteen when staying in the room with parents. Additional adults are $10 per night per person. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at the time of booking.

Room Service
Room service is available to our guests during regular restaurant hours. A 20% gratuity will be automatically added to your bill. Menus are located in the back packet of the Guest Directory.

Housekeeping
Housekeeping is available from 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Please use the cards provided in your room to request service or not to be disturbed. Housekeeping will not provide service to a room that has a “Do Not Disturb” sign on their door, nor will they be able to provide cleaning services after 1 p.m., unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is for the use of registered hotel guests and registered boaters only. The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day and pool hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Should guests need extra towels for pool use, they may contact the front desk. There is no lifeguard on duty, so children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult. No diving, running, or glass products are allowed in the pool or pool area at any time.

Smoking
We are a 100% non-smoking property. Smoking in a designated non-smoking area will result in a $250 Room Recovery fee. Non-smoking areas specifically include your room, all balconies, our lobby, office center, library and restaurant. We do offer smoking areas for our guests who choose to smoke. Please see the front desk upon check-in to find out where these areas are located.
